The classic purple genetic breeding stock, these originated from Canabigean stock and were 7 generations in when i received about 70 to select from. This offering is the third round I’ve made. And while I’m working towards some IBL Purple, these will have the diverse purple and green phenotypes. Traditionally folks have agreed the green phenoes tend to be stronger in THC content. Often purple has a woody flavor, but these tend towards ambrosia and florals when the flower is shades of fuchsia pink or orange and unless its closer to black / dark purple leaf which leans towards that woody flavor. The head is often a strong creeper full body effect. A great end of day, shut down, relax and go to sleep. I often find myself abstaining from it during the day as it results in what would be a great PTSD treatment… often waking up 4 hours later wondering what is going on… if i toke a little too much trying to treat the pain. That creeper effect can really get a person looking for immediate relief.
For breeding purposes, stem strength, stocky short branching from seed, with a solid large main cola, unless topped, it will often bring branches up for a nice even candelabra. Everything I’ve crossed it to has been enhanced. Except for the fact it has poor resistance to bud rot, the large cola from seed or even some of the hybrid offspring must bear a warning for boytrius, as do most of the chunky “indica” Afghanica, Or wide leaf types… but alas!!!! This PCK has the possibility of producing the narrowest skinny leaf you will ever see!!! My mentor had mentioned he saw the thinnest leaf in his life in the fields above Chitral. He also swears it is not an INDICA in the traditional sense. What it is is a fabulous hash plant and the genetic diversity within the strain allows for combining into hash flavors you can never get from a single cloned flower run.
This lineage has produced two of the frosties males ive ever seen, so tight and frosty that people refuse to believe they are not reversed females. But there are also runts not worth pursuing in the lot… this is part and parcel to working with a regional heirloom and and in bred version at that, but the goods are so worth the look.
Chitral is located proximal to the Hindu Kush and just south and down hill, there are many fine cultivars , regional heirlooms and landrace that descend literally from the Hindu Kush greater genetic and geographic zones, all are worth exploring for breeding or hashmaking.
